Welcome to our site, home of the Haitian Salesian Alumni Association Of Florida. At the dawn of a new millennium when third world countries are more than ever deprived of socio-economic, technical, and political means of self sufficiency, we, the alumni of the Salesians of Don Bosco living in Florida, are committed to helping our alma mater by making a difference in the life of students attending Salesian schools in Haiti, and alumni and families living in Florida. We are a brotherly, interfaith, apolitical, non-profit,501(c)(3), organization whose purpose is to: 1) Reunite alumni of the Salesian schools living in Florida. 2) promote communication, camaraderie, and fellowship, among and between all salesian alumni in the U.S and Haiti. 3) Through fundraising events and donations, provide financial assistance to Salesian schools in Haiti. 4) Provide a network of support to alumni and assistance to people in need in Florida.
| All such purposes shall at all times be exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including for such purposes as the making of distribution to organization that qualify as exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. As an all volunteer | organization, we are dependent of our modest membership dues and fundraising to fund all of our activities, regulatory compliance costs, postage, etc. No board member receives any salary, or remuneration of any kind (except reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses on behalf of the Association) by virtue of their involvement with the Association. |
Meeting
The Association meet every 1st. Sunday of every month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the choir/music room of Saint James Catholic Church , 13155 NW 7 Ave. North Miami FL 33168. Alumni and friends we would love to have your support. Please join us.
